DMI captures Daesh terrorist in Kirkuk

The Military Intelligence Directorate-DMI announced on Saturday, capturing of a Daesh terrorist in Kirkuk.

"According to accurate intelligence information, the forces of the Military Intelligence Directorate, with the participation of a force from the Kirkuk Intelligence and Security Directorate and the cooperation of the security forces holding the territory, carried out a tight ambush that resulted in the arrest of a terrorist wanted by the Iraqi judiciary according to Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law in Ashwan district, who was affiliated with the terrorist Daesh and joined one of its various ranks," DMI said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

"He was handed over to the requesting authority," the statement said.
