The Directorate of Military Intelligence-DMI announced Saturday, that two dangerous terrorists had been arrested in Anbar and Nineveh.
DMI said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "with two separate operations and a distinguished intelligence effort by the divisions of the Seventh and Sixteenth Divisions of DMI, and in cooperation with the security forces, two tight ambushes were set up in the checkpoints of the martyr Sabhan, the entrance to Nineveh, and the martyr Muhammad al-Karawi."
The statement continued,"The two ambushes resulted in the arrest of two terrorists wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 Anti-Terrorism Law in the districts of Heet and Al-Hamdaniya," noting that "they were duly handed over to the concerned authorities."
