Capturing a terrorist detachment in an ambush in Al-Tarmiyah, DMI reports

The Directorate of Military Intelligence-DMI announced on Friday, the arrest of a terrorist detachment in an ambush north of the capital, Baghdad, in Al-Tarmiyah district.
 
 “According to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and under the supervision of the Director of Military Intelligence, Major General Zaid Hoshi al-Musawi, a joint ambush was set up by a force from the 25th Brigade, a force from the Tribal Mobilization Forces, and the Military Intelligence Division in the aforementioned division in Al-Tarmiyah district, Al-Salman area,” stated DMI in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
The statement  added, "The ambush resulted in the killing of two terrorists and the wounding of  the third, after receiving accurate intelligence information about the terrorist detachment that had previously attacked one of the checkpoints in the district, DMI and the Mobilization Forces mobilized all the sources  to determine the criminals' whereabouts to bring them to justice."
