Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, affirmed on Tuesday that national unity and the solidarity of political forces are sufficient to overcome all challenges, warning against the outbreak of any war between Iran and the US.
"Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, received sheiks and dignitaries of Diyala Governorate at the headquarters of the Diyala Ops Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces," said Amiri's media office in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He spoke about regional tensions, warning that "any war that might break out between Iran and the US would not be limited to the two parties to the conflict, but would drag the entire region into a fire," stressing that "national unity and the solidarity of political forces are sufficient to overcome all challenges."
Al-Ameri added that "the Palestinian cause is going through a dangerous phase, as the Palestinian people in Gaza are being subjected to a war of extermination, displacement, and systematic killing," and that "the Zionist aggression continues to target Lebanon because it supports the Palestinian cause."
"Yemen's courageous stance in support of Palestine has placed it in the face of the US and British aggression," he added, emphasizing that "any war against Iran will not be a walk in the park, but will ignite the entire region."
