Russia has repatriated 32 of its citizens from al-Hol camp, according to confirmation provided by National Security Advisor Qassim Al-Araji on Friday.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, Al-Araji stated the following, which was picked up by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "After Iraq's persistent efforts, 24 countries started a process of repatriating their nationals, including Russia, which repatriated (32) children (12 girls and 20 boys) aged (5-17 years)."
"We appreciate the Russian government's stance and urge all nations to evacuate their citizens in advance of the camp's closure," he continued.
