The Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substance Affairs announced, on Sunday, the seizure of 3 kg of crystal in the possession of drug dealers’ network in Diyala.

" Within the series of qualitative operations and painful strikes carried out by The Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substance Affairs against drug trafficking networks, and based on accurate information, Diyala drug affairs directorate was able to overthrow a network that worked to introduce drugs and trade with mercury into the country” According to a statement of the Directorate received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) ..

The statement added "the network included 3 traffickers of narcotic substances who were seized red-handed ",noting that" legal measures were taken against them in accordance with judicial decisions to get their fair punishment”.
