Parliament speaker Mohammed Al-Halbousi discussed with Baghdad Mayor Thikra Alwash on Wednesday the services in the capital and ways to develop them.

A statement by the Speaker’s Media office (Ina received a copy of) said: “Al-Halbousi discussed with Ms Alwash plans to develop services in the capital Baghdad, the important projects (Stalled, ongoing and new), and ways to support steadfast investment companies to implement strategic projects in the capital. They stressed upon the necessity to provide financial allocations for the Mayoralty, giving prominence to providing drinking water and Municipal services to the citizens, rehabilitating the infrastructures, and reopening blocked streets”.
