UN Coordinator: Gaza witnesses a tragic and horrific escalation

The UN Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wennesland, confirmed on Tuesday that Gaza is witnessing a tragic and horrific escalation.
"Gaza is witnessing a tragic and horrific escalation. The region faces the risk of further escalation," said Wennesland during a Security Council session.
Wennesland called for "protecting civilians in Gaza and delivering aid," stressing that "we are facing the most dangerous escalation in the region in decades."
