Iran will employ the “element of surprise” in its operations against the Zionist entity, which will be unable to predict Iran’s actions, Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) spokesperson Ali Mohammad Naeini stated on Saturday.

In a statement followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Naeini said, “The Zionist entity is certain that Iran will respond to military actions with equivalent force, which is what the Netanyahu government anticipates.”
He emphasized that “Operation Honest Promise demonstrated that Iran is not confined to the levels expected by the Zionist entity.”

Naeini highlighted that “Iran has the capacity to shift the enemy’s perception, aligning with Tehran’s strategy of disciplining and punishing those who encroach upon Iran’s national security. Operation Honest Promise 2, he added, marked the start of a strategic approach designed to surprise the Zionist entity.”

He reiterated that “Iran will utilize the element of surprise in its operations against the Zionist entity, showcasing that it will be incapable of anticipating Iran’s actions.” He noted that “Operation Honest Promise revealed that despite the occupying entity’s possession of advanced technologies, weaponry, and pride in its defense systems and alliances, it was unable to defend itself from Iranian missile strikes.”

Naeini further pointed out that a significant misjudgment by the Zionist entity is the assumption that Iran fears direct confrontation and military conflict, leading it to believe that recent attacks will go unanswered. He explained, “The Zionist entity mistakenly assumes that the Iranian people are weary of resistance and that public opinion in Iran is opposed to conflict with the entity. This misconception stems from their engagement with opposition media abroad and subversive figures—an evident miscalculation on the part of the Zionist entity.”

He concluded by asserting, “Iran’s first and second Sadiq Promise operations clearly demonstrated that Iran does not fear direct confrontation or military response to Zionist aggression. At the same time, it emphasizes its capacity to employ its military power and resources effectively to punish aggressors.”
