Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi, confirmed on Tuesday that "the region will not see peace unless the aggression on Gaza and Lebanon stops."
"Iran emphasizes the need to exert collective diplomatic efforts to stop the aggression and crimes of the Zionist entity," said Araqchi during his meeting with several representatives of diplomatic bodies in Tehran.
He added, "We call on the international community to take immediate, effective, and decisive action to contain the Zionist entity. Unless the aggression on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon stops, the region will not see peace."
"All parties must seek an immediate end to the war in Lebanon and Palestine. The UN Security Council should take action against the Zionist regime's insistence on continuing the war and bloodshed. The Security Council should impose strict sanctions on this entity based on Chapter VII of the UN Charter," he included.
