The Popular Mobilization Forces(PMF) announced on Saturday, the launch of a security operation in the Hamrin Mountains in cooperation with the army.
"under the direction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, and after careful technical monitoring, a force from the Diyala Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, in cooperation with a force from the Iraqi army, launched a security operation to purge and search the Hamrin Mountains," PMF stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
