Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine prepares 12,000 food baskets of relief supplies for the Lebanese people

    Imam Hussein (PBUH) Host Department at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH) announced on Friday,  the preparation of the second batch of relief supplies allocated to the Lebanese people.
     
    The head of the department, Adnan Qahtaan Al-Naqeeb, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "According to the directives of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, and the Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine, Hassan Rashid Al-Abayji, the second batch of relief supplies was prepared, which includes food baskets and a number of other materials to support the Lebanese people."
     
    The statement added, "The number of food baskets amounted to more than (12) thousand baskets, and each basket contains (14) food items, in addition to health supplies, blankets, mattresses and all the relief materials needed," noting that "the department's staff continues to work at a high pace to complete all the tasks assigned to it in the service of humanity and what the Lebanese people are going through."
