Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani inaugurated the new Nineveh Governorate building today, Sunday.

The Prime Minister's media office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani inaugurated the new Nineveh Governorate building, one of the most prominent stalled projects that have been resumed within the government's adopted approach to completing suspended and stalled projects."
"Al-Sudani toured the new building, and viewed its departments and the facilities it includes," praising "the important achievement made within the efforts to rebuild and reconstruct."
The new Nineveh Governorate Diwan building project is one of the projects launched before 2014 within the governorate's regional development program, and a large part of the project was destroyed during the control of ISIS terrorist gangs over the city.
The project, which is an architectural monument that symbolizes the history and civilization of Nineveh, consists of five floors, and contains (120) rooms, (10) meeting halls of different sizes, and a separate guest house with all other accessories.
