Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces: The government was able to keep risks away from Iraq

    Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mohammed Shia al-Sudani confirmed today, Sunday, that the government was able to keep risks away from Iraq, especially with the security challenges witnessed by the region, including the transformation that occurred in Syria.
     
    The Prime Minister's media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mohammed Shia al-Sudani chaired a meeting of the security and military leaders in Nineveh Governorate."
     Prime Minister stressed during the meeting according to the statement the "necessity of preserving the security achievement that was achieved thanks to the great sacrifices of the Iraqis, and not to be lenient with any event, no matter what it is, in order to maintain the stability that the government launched with development and service projects."
     
     "Prime Minister stressed the importance of adopting efficiency in confronting the leadership, and not allowing any consideration other than professionalism in distributing security responsibilities, as well as caring for the members and their readiness," stressing "the continuation of the excellent relationship with citizens, and dealing with them in a way that reflects the bright face of the state."
     
    Al-Sudani pointed out that "the government was able to remove risks from Iraq, especially with the security challenges that the region witnessed, including the transformation that occurred in Syria."
