A dialogue seminar was held in Baghdad on Tuesday on the contents of the statement of the supreme religious authority in support of the Lebanese people with the participation of various political and social figures, stressing the need to prepare public opinion to deter the Zionist attack against the Lebanese people.

"The seminar was held in response to the call of the supreme religious authority, with its clear and explicit position to support the Lebanese people and deter the attack of the wicked and immoral who violated Lebanese lands. The call is a 'relief fatwa'," the Political analyst, Abbas Al-Ardawi, told the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The political analyst Salam Adel "appreciated the initiative of the head of the Iraqi Media Network and the head of the Board of Trustees to show solidarity with the brothers in Lebanon and Palestine," calling on "all media institutions to go towards this initiative."

"The position of the Iraqis, media institutions, and official figures is to open a media front in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples," Adel told INA.

The call of the supreme religious authority for solidarity with the Lebanese people following the brutal Zionist aggression was met with great resonance and interaction from the Iraqi government, political and social forces. The emphasis was placed on the statement of the supreme religious authority as a clear roadmap for those wishing to provide support and assistance to Lebanon and Palestine.

PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani stressed that the position of the authority is not new, as it has always announced, over the years, its wise diagnosis of the origin of the existence of the Zionist entity, its occupation of Palestine and its attempts to expand the conflict in the region.

The two holy shrines of Imam Hussein and Abbas announced the dispatch of a large medical convoy by air and land to aid the Lebanese people in compliance with the directives of the supreme religious authority.

The supreme religious authority expressed solidarity with the Lebanese following the brutal Zionist aggression, calling for "making every possible effort to stop this ongoing barbaric aggression and protect the Lebanese people from its destructive effects", calling on "believers to do what contributes to alleviating their suffering and securing their humanitarian needs".
