Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, paid a follow-up visit to the joint operations headquarters on Thursday to execute the plan for the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
"The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani, visited the headquarters of joint operations," the Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"This came to follow up the progress of the security plan for the Arbaeen Pilgrimage via video conference," the statement continued.
