Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein announced today, Saturday, that five-party meetings will be held tomorrow in the Jordanian capital, Amman, to discuss the situation in Syria and combating terrorism with the participation of Iraq.
Hussein said, in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Five-party meetings will be held tomorrow, with the participation of countries geographically neighboring Syria in addition to Syria, to discuss developments in the situation in Syria."
He explained that "the meetings will address studying the current situation in Syria, in addition to discussing mechanisms to confront terrorism and enhance joint cooperation between the participating countries in this field."
He stressed that "Iraq has a clear vision and will present it during these meetings, as part of its efforts to support regional stability and combat terrorism."
