BOC: Arbaeen Pilgrimage's security plan goes into effect

The security plan for Arbaeen Pilgrimage has come into effect, as announced by the Baghdad Operations Command (BOC) on Wednesday.

"The security plan drawn by the Baghdad Operations Command for Arbaeen Pilgrimage entered into force with the participation of the security units in the Ministries of Defense and Interior and the security services attached to them," the Command said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).


 "The dominating headquarters were opened and patrols were deployed within the pilgrims' axes and routes," the statement continued. "This was done with the presence of representatives from supporting government institutions and departments, as well as field supervision and follow-up from commanders at all levels."
