Press reports revealed that Andrea Agnelli, the former president of Juventus, is considering a return to takeover the club. He aims to bring German Jürgen Klopp, the former Liverpool manager, back to the coaching bench through Juventus.
Klopp left Liverpool at the end of last season, after a nine-year tenure at Anfield.
After leaving the Reds, Klopp surprised everyone by signing a contract with Red Bull, where he assumed the position of director of football for the company worldwide.
According to Tuttosport, Andrea Agnelli wants to take over Juventus on his own, freeing himself from his cousin John Elkann and his Exor company.
The newspaper explained that "negotiations have been ongoing for months, facilitated by current president Ferrero, and Agnelli has received support from an American investment fund, rumored to be Red Bull." The report indicated that "Agnelli wants to restore Juventus to what it was during his tenure, and the idea is to start over with Jurgen Klopp as manager. He currently works with Red Bull as president of global football." Agnelli left Juventus in November 2022 after being accused of irregularities in the club's accounts.
