The draw for the second round of the 100-meter race at the Paris Olympics placed runner Taha Hussein in Group Seven.
The Olympic Committee stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Group Seven includes Emmanuel Esme from Cameroon, Kenneth Bednarek from America, Emmanuel Matidi from Liberia, Jerrell Baby from Mauritius, Andre De Cras from Canada, Ryoshiro Sakai from Japan, Ronal Longa from Colombia, and Jose Gonzalez from the Dominican Republic.".
It added that "the qualifiers include (72) runners, who were distributed into eight groups, with nine runners in each group.".
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi runner Taha Hussein qualified for the second round of the (100) meter race at the Paris Olympics after coming in fourth place in the fourth group of the preliminary qualifiers.
