The Iraqi runner Abbas Odeh won today, Saturday, the gold medal in the 400m hurdles race at the Arab Youth Championship in Egypt.
The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) reported, “The runner Abbas Odeh won the gold medal for the 400-meter hurdles race in the Arab Youth Championship in Egypt.”.
He added, "The runner Abbas came first with a time of 52.44 seconds, while the Qatari runner came second with a time of 52.86 seconds, the Moroccan runner came third with a time of 52.97 seconds, while our runner Muqtada Ali came fourth with a time of 54.00 seconds.".
He added, "The runner, Abbas Odeh, achieved the qualifying number for the World Youth Championships in Peru this year."
