The Ministry of Interior counted on Friday, the number of those arrested in the Al-Bataween operation.
The spokesman for the Interior Ministry and the Security Media Cell, Brigadier General Miqdad Miri, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The number of those arrested in the Al-Bataween operation in Baghdad has so far reached (307), accused of various cases.”
According to the statement, Miri confirmed that "the security operation is still continuing in the Al-Bataween area."
