Diwani order issued to reconstitute SMC

A security source revealed, on Monday, that a Diwani order was issued to reconstitute the security media cell(SMC).
 
The source told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Based on the approval of the Prime Minister and later the Diwani Order No. (148) issued pursuant to the letter issued by the Prime Minister’s Office numbered (M.R.W./D7/6715) on April 26, 2023, It was decided to reconstitute the Security Media Cell to be headed by Major General Tahseen Ibrahim Sadiq.
 
The source added, “Major General Yahya Rasoul, the official spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, will be deputy head of the Security Media Cell,” noting that “Brigadier General Miqdad Miri Hassan, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, will be the media spokesman for the Security Media Cell.”
