Yarallah leads a security delegation that arrives at the Karbala operations sector

Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, the Army's chief of staff, visited the Karbala Operations Sector on Thursday to assess the security situation.  

The Iraqi News Agency (INA) obtained a statement from the Ministry of Defense stating that Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, the Chief of Staff of the Army, "arrived at the Karbala operations sector, accompanied by his assistant for operations and the commander of the ground forces."

"The visit came to see the security situation in the Karbala operations sector," the statement continued.  

It made note of the fact that "the governor of the holy city of Karbala met with the army chief of staff."
