Interior Ministry: An international drug dealer arrested in possession of 25 kg of crystal

The Ministry of Interior announced on Friday, the arrest of an international drug dealer in possession of 25 kg of crystal narcotic substance on the border between Wasit and Maysan governorates.
 
 
 “The General Directorate of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Affairs, in cooperation with the Border Forces Command and Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) seized 25 kg of crystal narcotic substance,” Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Miqdad Miri said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
Merry added that it was “in the possession of an international merchant on the border between Wasit and Maysan governorates.”
