A police directorate in northern Basra is inaugurated by Interior Minister

    A police directorate in northern Basra province was inaugurated on Monday by Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari.
     
     
    "Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari inaugurated today a police directorate northern Basra in the district of Al-Deir," reads a ministry statement that the Iraqi News Agency (INA) obtained.
     
    The statement also stated that "the directorate's inauguration came to enhance security and stability and provide services to citizens in the district."
