Salah al-Din Police Command counted on Sunday, its achievements, with the support of Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, during the current year 2023, and while announcing its reinforcement with (1820) volunteers, it indicated that the arrest warrants executed for the current year exceeded 7 thousand.
Police Commander Maj. Gen. Qandil Khalil Mohammed al-Jubouri told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Based on the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the Minister of Interior, the Salah al-Din Police Command is working to impose the prestige of the state and the rule of law in the province, through unlimited support to the Ministry of Interior, represented by logistical support by supporting the police command with modern vehicles, modern weapons, in addition to human resources of new personnel, to compensate for the martyrs and those who suffered a disability.”
He pointed out that "the Minister of Interior gave support to the members of the police command, and police personnel in the field, to carry out their tasks, through the presence of legal immunity and taking all legal measures, which fortify the police command, confirming that "This unlimited support from the Ministry of Interior enabled us to implement the ministry's program of paying attention to the completion of investigative papers, which are the subject of the rights of citizens, whether they are affected by terrorist operations or the implementation of other citizens' rights.”
