FIIA arrests 9 terrorist suspects in four governorates

Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency (FIIA) of Interior Ministry announced on Monday, the arrest of 9 terrorists in four governorates.
 
FIIA stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The detachments of the intelligence agency specialized in combating terrorism in Nineveh province, carried out a qualitative operation based on intelligence information, resulted in the arrest of (3) accused, one of them is a woman under Article 4 of the anti-terrorism law, and when interrogated, they admitted planning to carry out subversive acts inside the province and were seized in possession of various weapons."
 
"The Agency's detachments also carried out other separate operations, and arrested (6) accused under the above article in the governorates of Muthanna, Misan, Kirkuk and Nineveh," the statement added.
 
The statement added "The detachments of the agency in Baghdad (Federal Police Intelligence Directorate) carried out another operation whereby an accused was arrested under article 32 of the Anti-Narcotics Act," stating that "all the accused referred with the seizures to the competent authorities to receive their just punishment."
