Defense Minister, Iranian Chief of Staff Discusse Development of Military Relations

Defense Minister Thabet Mohammad Saeed AL- Abbasi discussed on Sunday , with the chief of staff of Iranian Army, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the development of military relations.
 
Defense Ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that " Defense Minister Thabit Mohammad said AL-Abbasi, met at the headquarters of the ministry, the chief of the General Staff of  Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri".
 
The statement added "During the meeting, which was attended by senior commanders and officers in the Ministry of Defense, a number of topics of common interest between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran were discussed, especially those related to the development of military relations between Baghdad and Tehran".
