Diyala Police seize a stack of ammunition in Hamrin Hills

    Diyala Police Command announced today, Friday, the seizure of a cache of ammunition in Hamrin Hills area.
     
    A statement by the command, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "detachments from the River Police Department, in cooperation with the Diyala Explosives Control Department, were able to seize a cache of ammunition and projectiles of various sizes inside the hills near Lake Hamrin."
     
    According to the statement "this security operation comes to maintain the safe ambience surrounding the lake, as it is the important water reserve for the province."
