Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani directed today, Friday, to lift the entry visa for Lebanese citizens who visit Iraq.
The government spokesman, Basem Al-Awadi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani directed the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior to take measures to lift the entry visa for Lebanese citizens who visit Iraq."
He added, "The decision came based on bilateral relations, as well as the presence of a large number of Lebanese visitors and investors, in addition to the principle of reciprocity, after the Lebanese government decided earlier to lift the entry visa for Iraqis."
