The head of the Supreme Council, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, confirmed today, Sunday, that no one imposes a specific system on Iraqis, indicating that the people are the ones who decide who rules and how.

Sheikh Hamoudi said in a speech during the mass memorial ceremony in Diwaniyah on the anniversary of Iraqi Martyr's Day, the martyrdom of Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Hakim, and the anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of victory, which was held by the Popular Mobilization Authority, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "no one imposes a specific system on Iraqis, as the people are the ones who decide who rules, how, and when to change, and this is a privilege that Iraqis have obtained through their patience and blood."

He added, "What you hear from here and there about dissolving the Popular Mobilization are rumors to scare us, and we do not allow anyone to impose their opinion on us, as many of our officials and the Prime Minister are proud of their Popular Mobilization and security forces and do not allow anyone to interfere in our affairs."

"Iraq's strength lies in its stability, and this can only be achieved through its security, and security can only be achieved through presence in the field, and the most prominent presence is the presence of the Popular Mobilization Forces when they respond to the fatwa of the religious authority." Hamoudi said.

He pointed out that "our government, our officials, and our political forces are aware that the enemies want to take away the people's strength in the field, and no one will allow that because there are enemies lurking in the country."

He continued, "We must preserve the cohesion of our tribes, our mobilization, and our connection to the religious authority to achieve our goals of stability, progress, and development."
