The office of the Grand Ayatollah, Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani, denied on Saturday that it had issued a statement regarding Eid al-Fitr, stating that tomorrow, Sunday, is the 29th of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a brief statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the office said, "No statement has been issued by the office of the Grand Ayatollah, Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, regarding tomorrow, the 29th of the holy month of Ramadan."
