The office of the supreme authority, Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani, announced today, Friday, that next Sunday is the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani in Najaf al-Ashraf said in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Tomorrow, Saturday, is the complement of the month of Sha'ban, and Sunday corresponding to (2025/3/2 AD) is the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 1446 AH."
