The leader of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, congratulated today, Sunday, on the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi army.

Al-Maliki said in a tweet on the "X" platform, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "On the 104th anniversary of the founding of the valiant Iraqi army, we extend our highest congratulations and Salute to the heroes of Iraq, the shield of the homeland, in defending it and protecting its achievements."

He added, "Our people will remain indebted to you and your brave positions in defending the borders of the dear country, and highly appreciate all the sacrifices of the righteous martyrs of the homeland and place them in the brightest pages of its ancient history."

He concluded by saying: "Every year, our army is the homeland's impregnable shield and the faithful guardian of the gains, and the main partner in all achievements and successes."
