Reuters reported on Sunday that Hamas agreed to exchange 34 hostages for prisoners in a ceasefire agreement.
Reuters quoted a Hamas official as saying that "we agreed to a list of 34 hostages presented by the Zionist entity to be exchanged for prisoners in a ceasefire agreement."
He added that "any agreement will depend on agreeing to the withdrawal and ceasefire in Gaza, and the movement does not see any response from the Zionist entity regarding the withdrawal from Gaza or the ceasefire agreement."
