Deputy Commander of JOC holds a meeting with security leaders in Tarmiya: SMC

Security Media Cell SMC announced Wednesday, the arrival of Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi to the Tarmiya district, while noting that he held a meeting with security leaders.
 
SMC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the deputy commander of joint operations, Lieutenant General Qais al-Muhammadawi, and the commander of the ground forces, Lieutenant General Qassim al-Muhammadi, arrived in the Tarmiya district, north of the capital, Baghdad, to find out the causes and details of the incident of an explosive device explosion on a security force during its implementation of duty in the Khan area of the same district."
 
"The incident led to the martyrdom of the commander of the first regiment of the 59th Infantry Brigade, and also led to the injury of an officer," the statement added.
