Rashid confirms the depth of relations and cooperation with Lebanon

The President of the Republic, Abdel Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed today, Monday, the depth of relations and cooperation with Lebanon.
 
The Presidency of the Republic said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "President of the Republic, Abdel Latif Jamal Rashid, received, today, Monday, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, the Lebanese Ambassador to Iraq, Ali Adib Al-Habhab, who conveyed to the President two messages from Lebanese President Michel Aoun and the President of the Council of Ministers.   "The two presidents extended their warmest congratulations and blessings, on their behalf and on the Lebanese people, to Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid on the occasion of his election as President of the Republic of Iraq, wishing him success in performing his duties, and confirmed their aspiration to strengthen brotherly relations and cooperation with Iraq in various fields in a way that achieves mutual interests, and expressed their confidence that Iraq, under the leadership of President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, is on the right path towards progress, prosperity and stability. While the President of the Republic stressed "the depth of the relations of brotherhood and cooperation that unite Iraq and Lebanon," noting "the need to strengthen and develop it in a manner that serves the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples."
