The Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seimology announced the record of a 3.2 magnitude earthquake within the Iraqi border, north of Dohuk Governorate.
"Our seismic observatories recorded an earthquake this evening inside the Iraqi border, with a 3.2 magnitude about 12 km north of Dohuk Governorate in the Kurdistan Region," said a statement by the Organization - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The statement added, "It was felt by the citizens who live near in a different way. We will provide you with other developments."
The Organization called on citizens to stay away from false news, rumors and adhere to seismic commandments.
