The Gulf Federation announced today, Tuesday, that Basra is ready to host the 25th Gulf Championship by 95%, while noting to the excellence referee teams.
The Secretary-General of the Federation, Jassim Al-Rumaihi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "there are frequent visits to Iraq regarding the 25th Gulf Championship," noting that "the tournament will be held in Basra."
Al-Rumaihi added, "Basra is 95% ready to host the tournament," noting that "distinguished referee and administrative teams were selected."
"The invitations are by the organizing federation in coordination with the Gulf Federation," noting that "eminent personalities will attend the tournament, including the president of the International Federation, Gianni Infantino."
