Gulf Committee ends an inspection visit to Basra

The inspection committee of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation concluded the inspection visit to Basra.

”The inspection committee of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation concluded its inspection visit to Basra, and left a positive impression about its readiness to host the next edition of the tournament,” according to a statement by the Football Association, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

A member of the Iraqi Football Association, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, accompanied the inspection committee on the visit, where the stadiums for hosting the 25th edition were identified early next year, as well as approved hospitals and hotels designated for teams, dignitaries, organizational committees, media and fans.

The delegation of the inspection committee of the Arab Gulf Cup Federation arrived on Friday morning in Basra, headed by the Secretary-General of Qatar Arab Gulf Cup Federation Jassim Al-Rumaihi, in addition to members from Bahrain, Kuwait and Yemen.
