Iraqi Association of Football obtained the approval of the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety to allow the fans to return to the stadiums according to specific conditions, after an absence of more than a year and a half due to the Corona virus pandemic.
media spokesman for the Iraqi Association of Football, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) on Monday, that “the Supreme Committee agreed to allow the public to return to the stadiums, at a rate of 30%, after great efforts made by the Minister of Youth, head of the Iraqi football club, Adnan Darjal, who ended this morning his communication with the Supreme Committee to publicize the approval.
Al-Moussawi added that "there are mobile teams that will be present in the stadiums three hours before the start of the match, to vaccinate the fans with the Covid 19 vaccine, while those who received the vaccine earlier will be allowed to enter, provided that the vaccination card is brought while attending the matches."
media spokesperson for the association explained, "The application of precautionary measures and social distancing will take place while the public attends the Premier League matches, and in all stadiums whose administrations must prepare the requirements for the success of the separation process, to ensure the safety of fans."
he continued, "The President of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Darjal, valued the approval of the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety to allow the public to return to Iraqi stadiums, with the application of safety conditions," extending his high thanks and appreciation to "the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, who He was keen on the gradual return of the fans to enter the stadiums again."
