Date Set for 'El Clasico' Final of the Copa del Rey

The Spanish Football Federation announced today, Saturday, the date for the 'El Clasico' between Real Madrid and Barcelona in the 2024-25 Copa del Rey final.

The federation said in a statement: "The Copa del Rey final between Real Madrid and Barcelona will be held at La Cartuja Stadium in Seville. This will be the first time the two teams have met in the final of the tournament in 11 years."

The Spanish Federation set the kick-off time for the match, which will be held on April 26, at 11:00 Mecca time (midnight Abu Dhabi time).

The last Copa del Rey final between the two teams was in the 2013-2014 season, when Real Madrid won 2-1, with the winning goal scored by Welshman Gareth Bale. Real Madrid qualified for the final after defeating Real Sociedad in the semi-finals, while Barcelona overcame Atletico Madrid in the same round.
