Saudi Arabia praises the Iraqi Hajj mission

    Minister of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Tawfiq Al-Rabiah praised on Monday, the Iraqi Hajj mission for providing perfect services to pilgrims.

    The head of the Iraqi Hajj mission, Sami Al-Masoudi, met with the Minister of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah in Mecca, according to a statement by Supreme Authority for Hajj and Umrah, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

    Al-Masoudi congratulated the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on the success of this year's Hajj season, which was characterized by the high organization of the affairs of the pilgrims of the Islamic world and cooperation with the offices of the affairs of pilgrims of the world countries.

    For his part, the Saudi Minister of Hajj praised the "excellent management of the Iraqi Hajj mission by providing perfect services to pilgrims, adhering to the instructions, laws and timings issued by the ministry to the movement of pilgrims, as he gave thanks and appreciation to the head of the mission and all its employees."

    The statement included, "Al-Masoudi and Al-Rabiah discussed the file of Umrah after the end of the Hajj season, as he demanded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to open Umrah by land via the Jdeidet Arar border crossing due to the recurrent desire of Iraqi citizens to prepare to group pilgrims early with the advent of the next month of Muharram."

    Al-Masoudi invited the Saudi Minister of Hajj to visit Iraq at the end of the meeting.
