Baghdad - INA
The Hajj and Umrah Authority confirmed today, Tuesday, its readiness for the Hajj season, while indicating that what was published about the Hajj season controls is from unofficial sources.
A spokesman for the Authority, Hassan Al-Kinani, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The authority was keen to prepare early for the Hajj season, but this depends on the circumstances of the Corona pandemic," indicating that "until now, no official letter has been received from us by the Saudi authorities regarding the Hajj season or Preparing pilgrims, because these questions need official answers. "
He added, "We are linked to the Saudi side, but we are ready to spread any number that is agreed upon," noting that "we are fully prepared with what applies to health and safety conditions, and this will be in coordination with the Ministry of Health in Iraq."
