West Nineveh Ops: Stable security situations in Sinjar, no armed manifestations

The security situations in Sinjar were announced to be stable according to a statement by Western Nineveh Operations Commander, Major General Jabbar Naima on Wednesday, as he also highlighted that there are no armed manifestations.

In light of the visit of the Chief of Staff of the Army, the Deputy Commander of the Joint Operations and their accompanying delegation to lead the Western Nineveh Operations at the headquarters of the pedestrian division 20th, yesterday, security stability started in Sinjar district in addition to its suburbs, "we have no armed manifestations during the past two days," he noted.

Major General Naima also explained that, "Clear directives from our military leadership were given that the army is to be keen on the security of citizens," stressing, "We will carefully work so that there are no militants and outlaws in the districts,".

There is a rumor that was reported by some social media sites that there is a displacement in Sinjar, "the citizens are reassured that the situation in Sinjar is stable," he included.
