The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, affirmed that reform is the best door to save Iraq from occupation, normalization and dependency.

He added, "Reform must take precedence over all other interests so that it in turn will be beneficial to all, because It is the only door to saving Iraq from occupation, normalization, dependence, vice, poverty, fear, and the like.
