Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al Kadhimi on Thursday urged the public to vote in coming elections to curb corruption.
Al-Kadhimi said: all Iraqi people must hurry to obtain the voter's card, for sake of you and the future of your children.
He added: "Your votes are a trust that you do not waste. Whoever seeks reform and change for the better, he must work on wide participation in the elections. Your votes are the future of Iraq.
The Independent High Electoral Commission announced today the continuation of the distribution of elector cards until the fifth of next October.
The legislative elections are scheduled to take place on the 10th of October, at a time when the government and the commission announced the completion of all technical, logistical and security preparations to hold it.
