Al-Halbousi: Our position rejecting normalization will not change

Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi affirmed, today, Saturday, that Iraq has a firm historical position on the Palestinian issue, and our position rejecting the so-called (normalization) with the Zionist entity will not change. 

Al-Halbousi said in a tweet to him, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Iraq has a consistent historical position on the Palestinian issue, and that our position rejecting the so-called (normalization) with the Zionist entity will not change with the meeting of a group of prospective and hired men, who tried in vain to distort Iraq’s firm, decisive and honorable position of the Palestinian cause. 

He added, "Therefore, it is necessary to take strict legal measures to silence these dissonant voices and to hold accountable all those who may be tempted to prejudice our national principles and the nation's just causes."
