Security Operation Launched in Salah al-Din

    The Popular Mobilization Authority today, Monday, announced the launch of a security operation south of Salah al-Din. 

    The leadership of the body said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a force from the Commandos Brigade of Samarra Operations and the 14th Regiment of the 43rd Brigade Mission in the Hashd, carried out an inspection operation in southern Salah al-Din Governorate." 

    The operation aims to pursue Daesh remnants," noting that it "came with the aim of securing the targets set south of the province, coinciding with the approaching Arbaeen visit.
